Wildfire protection engineered by bc fire professionals
Wildfire Defence Systems for Homes, Cabins & Businesses in British Columbia
Providing homeowners and communities with reliable wildfire defence systems that reduce property loss, support evacuation efforts, and foster community resilience in the face of increasing wildfire threats.
How The Rainfall System Works
The Rainfall Residential Wildfire Defence system is managed by the Rainfall Intelligent Manifold. The manifold uses localized, central programming to execute saturation of each residential zone on a rotating schedule, injecting Class A retardant foam as it soaks.
On a four zone system, the sprinklers will saturate cyclically, zone 1, zone 2, zone 3, zone 4. Then, the manifold will close all valves for the same timed cycle to allow water reserves to replenish. Following a complete cycle, the system will reset to start again.
All complete installs will require an evaluation of property structures, water availability & pressure, as well as ignition zone threats. Assessments, and subsequently quotes, can be completed remotely with Google earth data and homeowner responses to basic questions.

What is the greatest wildfire threat to your home? The ember storm.
A wildfire ember storm happens when a large fire throws thousands of tiny burning embers (wood, vegetation or any burnable material) into the air, which are then carried by strong winds aggressively ahead of the fire itself. These embers can travel long distances, several kilometers, and land on dry grass, leaves, roofs, other flammable materials or make their way into eaves, attics and other enclosed areas of buildings. Because ember storms can ignite areas well beyond the actual flames of a wildfire, they are one of the most dangerous and unpredictable components of wildfire management.
EMBERS CAN TRAVEL UP TO 2 Kilometres and cause 90% of structure loss

WE KNOW B.C.
With a team of lifetime British Columbians, firefighting veterans and experts, a skilled team of engineers and technicians, Rainfall was developed in BC, for the safety of British Columbians. The Rainfall concept originated in the Shuswap region following a series of evacuations, and now we aim to protect homes all over our beautiful province in the face of ever-present wildfire threats.
COMMUNITY FOCUS
Wildfire efforts are most effective when administered as a team or community. If your community works together to strategize and develop defence infrastructure, the odds of success are much greater. Would you like Rainfall to contribute to your community event? Please reach out, we’d love to connect with your community and help however we can!
Properties We Work With
